Entity DNA

Company structure charts

Company structure charts for any UK company

Search a company by name or number and EntityDNA lays out who owns it and who runs it. Shareholders, ownership percentages, persons with significant control (PSC) and officers are drawn from Companies House filings into one structure chart you can read at a glance.

Example ownership structure chart: three shareholders with 60%, 30% and 10% above a company, and its two officers below
Shareholders sit above the company with their percentage of the issued shares, including corporate shareholders that show where the company sits in a wider group. Directors, secretaries and persons with significant control sit below it. Names in these examples are fictional.

How it works

Ownership and shareholders

Shareholdings are read from filed confirmation statements and incorporation documents. You see each shareholder, including corporate shareholders, with their number of shares, their percentage of the company and the share class they hold, plus an ownership chart of who holds what.

Share classes and rights

Each share class is shown with its rights: voting, dividends, capital, redemption and capital priority. That makes it clear who controls votes and who is entitled to profits, not just who holds the most shares.

Changes over time

Compare filings to see new shareholders, removed shareholders and increased or decreased stakes, so you can follow how ownership has moved since incorporation.

Officers and control

Directors and secretaries appear alongside the ownership view, together with the persons with significant control recorded on the register.

Full shareholding history and exports are part of the Pro plan.
